how do i get rid of returing raccoons tearning into my roof & attic, they have destroyed attic door?
attic cant be accessed any more cause they have destroyed the door latches , i have had to nail and screw it shut, they came through attic door one night had to call sherrif at 3a, thank god my grandbabies weren’t home, repeating problem for many years, have traped and gotten rid of them they keep comming back, have repaired roof gutters vents now they tore flashing off roof (metal) and dug hole and have been in roof for months
Spike strips.
Pound 6 inch nails all the way through a 2×4 and put it where they are gaining entry.
Make many of them and nail them where they will bother little paws.
Get industrial strength glue. Like for carpets. Put down some cardboard, a thin layer, and you have racoon sized fly paper. It probably won’t kill them, but it will annoy them away.
The are usually attracted to food. Cover all food supplies. Pack it away in ice chests if you have to.
Birdfeeders are a food sourse most folks don’t consider.
Also, feeding cats outside is a NO-NO.
Talk to your neighbors. People think they are cute and that there is no harm in feeding them, not realizing that they are making pests of themselves elsewhere.
