Channels strong during the rain?
The down-channel flow from my two-story house is noisy to collect raindrops. I have tried spraying this channel underlayerment rubber end and also made an SST "mute" (a magnetic field with a pad on top to absorb the noise). Although some noise reduction has been achieved, not prevented us from hearing the rain in the dark of night. Any suggestions? It seems that the four channels second floor have this noise. Both worry about the one I love. The noise is downsprout at the base near the ground. What type of insulation can be used? Thanks for all your help!
I do not divert water to another channel, could cause the overflow, why not eliminate the 90 degrees. elbow (which is the source of noise) and the underground installation of drain pipes black and let flow down pipe on it .. that make the 90 for the pipe and fittings for connecting the down pipe to pipe …….. that's what we do all our homes … lic. gen. contractor
