The insurance adjuster just left my house and said he had a lot of damage?

For the roof, gutters and siding. We had a storm Monday's hail. He walked through with my contractor, who said she would fax her estimates, the regulator said that after receiving all information board that would be submitted to the insurance company for payment review. My question is does anyone know how long this may take? , Also this normal procedure?. Thanks

The normal procedure. We do this all day here. Time wise it all depends on the insurance company. Our company adjusts claims for about a dozen companies. After inspecting the damage and estimated write (usually both the same day) the fastest company pays about 2 days after receiving our estimate by email and the longest lasts approximately 3 weeks.
