Window Leak?

We recently installed a new window in the bathroom was an addition to the house. The addition has a gabled roof that is low and therefore a channel clearance has not been installed because there is not enough with the slope and the back door. After the window was installed, we realized leaked around the seat every time it rained. We had the guy who installed the window out and told us it was not the window that was leaking, but the ceiling was water absorbed in the framework of the previous day and the pooling on the top of the window and then running down the wall. Then we had a repairman come out and tell us that the strip of drip was installed on the roof was installed backwards causing excess water to pool on the roof and then to the window. Could this really be the cause? No evidence water damage on the ceiling in the bathroom too.

It's amazing the amount of water absorbed to do. I examine the available space to see if a narrow "L", aluminum strip can be placed along the roof line. Most of the L should slip under the shingles, and cutting portion face. This will cause the water to hang on the edge down until it drips, beyond the window. You may also consider the addition of a small strip just of the window itself, projecting enough to carry away water. I use this solution and it worked pretty well. Good luck.
