How to make a rain garden in a laundry area on the north side steep shadow of the house?
It is very strong and has no grass (from seed or sod). I was thinking of putting a (small stones) bedrock channel the hill to the property boundary of 30 x 40. Then plant shade plants between them. Is this what can?
You could terrace the slope and planting a rain garden: http://www.pondlady.com/Articles/raingarden.html Once the area is terraced, can be planted in the flat areas. Measures could be added from the same rock terraces. I would use a sheet rock flat as Tennessee Fieldstone.
