Why the channels in my house has top and it seems as if the leaks are on the other side?
Every time it rains and accounts of small drops rain under my form of channels. It almost seems as if they are leaking. What causes this?
Unless your gutters are clogged with leaves (as is common in wooded areas), normal rainfall is likely to cause. The small amount of rain falling over the edge of the creek is drained to the point lower in the background. The surface tension is these drops of water on site until the drop becomes too heavy. It is also possible that condensation could play a small role. In the same way that a glass of cold water "bead up" on a hot day, the water flowing through the culvert can be cooled sufficiently to cause moisture in the air to condense and collect in the bottom. Because the sewers are located on the edge of the roof, it is likely that the air below them is slightly warmer (and therefore able to retain more moisture), which also would be in addition to condensation.
