Adding to the window well drain?

We have a new ranch-style house with a basement in the Midwest. The north side of the house has two wells 2×3 window. It's not enough of overhang and gutters and plastic windows and blankets. But when a quick heavy rain window wells fill with water. Most Water seems to be running from the sides. Therefore, we must bail the water to prevent flooding in the basement. What would be the best way to solve this problem?

I think building a wall around the area, stop most of the water. Then, it could establish a "3 tubes, falling outside the window, to a sink. Install a sump pump to remove water from the sump, and make sure the pump switch float, to turn the pump on and off. Good luck!
