Can you get a drain around the septic tank of water runoff from your roof?

We have what appears to be a drain near our tank septic system (mound). A septic company, said he has a leak in the system somewhere, one company said the rainwater from the roof washing is hitting the ground like sand in the cracks septic dome. It is this second Scenera possible? We do not have gutters. We do not have spikes on the roof of this side the house that would cause the rainwater to flow in that direction. The roof looks like a triangle when you look great.
