Tubes in ancient times were made of lead, clay, bamboo and stones. Plumbers would rely on gravity to supply water. Today, we use the pipes are made of copper, brass and other materials not toxic. We have also used high pressure systems for water supply.
There are different and sewer pipe systems that companies plumbing used.
