Typhoon Alert – Super 8 Tips to help you keep your land!

Wherever you live, is likely to experience a typhoon. Typhoon also named tropical cyclones occur near Ecuador in the Eastern Pacific and are equivalent to hurricanes and cyclones. Like all great storms, which can break property and kill people.

A powerful reminder of the nature of force, typhoons are characterized by high speed winds and torrential rain that rotate around of a low pressure center. Through the miracles of modern weather satellites, meteorologists can observe, track, and predict its strength and movement.

Pacific typhoons have been recorded throughout the year, but they seem to peak between August and October. In the Pacific Northwest, the range is greater — May to November. Normally, their paths are one of three ways: a straight westward path, curved paths that affect Japan and China, and northward, the roads that seem to only affect small islands.

The causes of typhoons are not well understood, but there are some factors that seem common to them. One of them is the temperature of hot water, in particular with a rapid cooling of the atmosphere. High humidity is present. In general, appear to be over 500 km (310 miles) from Ecuador.

If a weather service issues a warning that the typhoon is approaching your area, there are steps you can take to prevent loss of life and property. Here's a quick run down of things you can do before it arrives:

1. Repair broken windows and doors, and make sure exits that are free of obstructions in case you need to leave (or in) quickly. Tape on large glass windows that could be destroyed by debris flying. If you have time, cover windows with plywood or shutters.

2. If your area is prone to floods, plan to move to an evacuation center or higher ground before the water level reaches a meter (or a little over 3 feet). Try to park your car on high ground. Secure your garbage in the interior where there go with the flow and create more health problems.

3. Store enough food and drinking water for a few days. You may also lose power to procure candles, batteries, rain gear, and thick blankets.

4. Security features such as furniture in your yard or on your balcony. Better yet, them indoors. Also remove anything from the ceiling which could easily wind.

5. Clean gutters and drains around your home to avoid increase the problem of flood damage by the typhoon to visit in your area.

6. Keep a battery-powered radio with you to hear the news of the typhoon. Know what's happening in your area. Be alert to announcements for emergency evacuations, and make sure you know what the evacuation routes are, where shelters are located, and how to get help if needed.

7. Even when the typhoon seems to have ended and the sky is clear, not leave your home or shelter until authorities tell you it is safe. You may be in the eye of the storm, where everything is peaceful and quiet. But this is misleading: you still has to go through the other side of the typhoon.

8. After the typhoon, check your home and property damage potentially dangerous. Delete items Large doors and paths. Be sure to check electrical appliances and outlets of the shorts that could cause fires. Make sure the service gas is being delivered properly for the same reason. Inspect tree limbs damaged could still fall on your house. And they checked the vehicle by water damage that may not be apparent until you want to go somewhere!
