Has anyone used the shelter system leaves in its channels? If so, what are actually prevent cleaning

Although I had my gutters professionally installed, which have exactly this system that I did not know who called the home of the sheet. Thanks for the education. However, I can tell you I had my channel for 10 years and never cleaned my gutters. I make husband climb the stairs to check out each year before and after of the rainy season because we live in a canyon of fire-prone and our fire chief sends a "prepare for fire season reminder" recommended that gutters be cleaned before and after the rainy season. What I can say is we have a tree near our property and get a great deal wind around here. Sometimes the leaves accumulate on the top of the guard channel (which is what they told me they are called). Much easier to wipe them off with a broom to dig them out of the bucket.
