I've turned green and I am becoming conservative and I need ideas?

Not long ago I decided to live greener and be more conservative. I have tried to devise ways to help the environment and so far have done the following: – I started to recycle aluminum cans, plastic bottles and glass bottles. — I formed a system of gutters and a rain barrel to conserve water – it plans to buy recycled bags I like to do these things and hope to find more than I do! Going green is easy, the resources are so great about it. My favorite is "The Green Book" which has parts of his book online and www.readthegreenbook.com. As I've been trying to "Go Green" I realize that is like stepping back in time without getting rid of my modern conveniences. I am doing many things I learned as a child, as the line of drying clothes, sweeping instead of vacuuming, opening the windows in the morning to take the cool breeze, only buy what I need instead of all what looks good, growing some of my own food and canning what I can not eat now. For me, "Going Green" is a mood. Do what fits your lifestyle and make things easy first is a process and like dieting if you go to radical soon, which is more likely to return to bad habits.
