This type of cover has been growing in popularity as companies are heavily marketing the benefits, but is it worth the bet? Chloride commonly polyvinyl such as PVC is a plastic made from toxic byproducts. Dioxin (a potent carcinogen), ethylene dichloride and vinyl chloride are made in the PVC production and cause health problems.
