Question about who pays for the removal of a tree!?

Our neighbor has a huge tree in the corner of the courtyard, but this tree branches are mostly on our side and drops from the leaves, seeds in our gutters and in our garden and our clothes and our clothing line is under it! The branches tend to leave our roof. The roots of this tree have grown with us, which in turn have driven up cobblestones and has left our land for up and down in the zones. I am a lawyer in Queensland and I have dealt with a number of situations of exactly this type. First, ignore KW – it's amazing how many "Top Contributors" have no idea what they're talking about! If the tree your property is causing damage to your property then you can give reason to take it to court for what in law is called nuisance. In general, costs more to do than what would have someone fix the problem for you.
