Gutters and downspouts are designed to move rainwater off its roof and drained away from home. This prevents flooding in the basement and helps protect windows, doors, walls and foundations.
Gutters should be checked and maintained regularly, because the leaves and debris can clog up, if you are blocked, Creek overflowed causing damage to its wood and metal. Even water can enter your house through walls if the channel is not installed correctly.

When you go to clean the canal, make sure to have proper cleaning equipment. Create a checklist so that I will not.
The following are the materials you will need:
1. A sturdy ladder – Do not lean the ladder against the gutter and down pipe, because it can break or bend.
2. Do not wear shoes slip or boots, gloves, safety glasses and a dust mask – This is to guard against any accidents.
3. Get a trowel or garden spade shaking hands – This is used to collect leaves and debris.
4. Large garbage bags – You can tie the garbage bag on the stairs. This is where you will save the remains.
5. A garden hose with a spraying system – Make sure you have enough water pressure.
6. Bring a sealant sewer – This is used to repair cracks in the gutter.
7. A plumber's snake – You will use this option if you blocked the down pipe.
Now that you have your materials. Do it step by step cleaning instructions.
First, start cleaning the area near the downspout. Then remove the leaves and debris using the narrow garden trowel. Dispose of debris in the garbage bag. If there is a wet or covered solid ground down before scooping. When the bin is full, tie securely, then fall just below.
Second, the removal of all leaves and debris, clean the gutter with a garden hose. Spray the channel until no traces can be seen. This is the best time to check if obstructed the down pipe. If so, hose down the pipe to clean any residue stuck. If that fails, use a plumber's snake to loosen and removing the debris out.
Third, when a hose stream, verification of the cracks, because water can penetrate through it. Use sealer to repair it. Also, check for any loose screws or see if the channel is hung properly. If not, repair immediately.
