Gutter Mold

Has a leak in the wall that has made my carpet wet and moldy socket, which should be replaced by insurance?

I own a condominium and a channel is not causing the water leak in the exterior wall over time seeped through the inside of the wall. I have minor mold on the motherboard and my carpet is wet in a 3×3 area. This has been going on in a while, but just counted because the roof has a small water stain. If the condo insurance replace all the carpet because there may be mold? What if the carpet is running in other rooms where the carpet replace everything? What about the wall interior? Is there mold in there? If they pay to watch? The wall does not show any water damage, except for the cast of the motherboard which has been periodically sample of more than 2 years. Thanks

The carpet, if not too damaged, can be steam cleaned. Plasterboard in the area of the leak must be replaced by mold problems. The adjustment can be replaced or treated with "KILZ" which is a petroleum Primer / sealer. The tacos in the area, if mold, should be KILZ sealed and any damaged insulation should be replaced. There are other products available, along with Kilz, but I happen to be familiar with it. I have worked for several years with ServiceMaster and fire and flood repairs every day.
