What is a cheap and easy way to stop rain gutters leak at the seams?

I thought it was some kind if sealant channel in the hardware store, but when I went there to investigate, the man said he did not carry any and also malfunctioning. Any opinions or suggestions on this about repairs?

it is a mastic made for gutters, lights, etc. Get it at Lowe's, etc should do the trick, but on a side note you may want to see how they are leaking at the seams. if the channel is not yet adequate, water is only going to stay in the gutter, which will escape .. while if the water flows freely, would be less likely to leak.
