Is it bad when the rain off to the right side of the ditch during heavy rain?

I have a leafguard (Alcoa leaf relief) installed on my gutters. Hard for rain, instead of going to rain gutters, slides right off and fall to one side. Is this bad in any way by my house?

It depends on how often you see a hard rain. few times a year, is not so bad. Each storm others is not good. In order to avoid accumulation of leaves and canal cleaning, you may have rendered less useful channels. The side effect is the erosion of gardening or soil around the perimeter of your home. It is possible see the edge marks the rain fails in a particular line. You may see bib in your home and / or water in the basement – as if you have no channels.
