It is the ability to control page layout without using presentation tools. However, the CSS design has gained a well deserved reputation for being difficult, especially among those studying the language for the first time. This is partly due to problems like browser, for example, IExplorer 7, but mainly due to a proliferation of different design techniques available on the Web. It seems that every CSS author has his own technique for creating multi-column layouts, and new CSS developers often use a technique without really understanding how it works. This "black box" approach to CSS layout can get quick results, but eventually the atrophy developerâ ™ € s understanding of the tongue.

All major CSS design techniques based on three basic concepts: positioning, floating, and understanding of margin. The different technical arena t ™ € really that different, and if you understand the basics, it is relatively easy to create your own layouts with little or no discomfort.

Long lines of text can be difficult and unpleasant to read. In modern monitors continue to grow in size, the issue of screen readability is becoming increasingly important. One way designers have attempted to address this problem is to focus its designs. Over that span the entire width of the screen, centered in the designs cover only a portion of the screen, creating shorter and easier to read line lengths.

If you set the width of your design to 720 pixels wide, which will always be 720 pixels. If you then want a brand image covers the top of your design, you know you have to be 720 pixels wide to fit. Knowing the exact width of each item lets you lay out with precision and know that everything will be. This predictability makes fixed-width design by the method of measuring the most common arrangement around cascading style sheets.
