what level should I buy?

Hi, I'm a woman, and the need to buy a ladder. I need a lightweight ladder that can be used to clean gutters and washing windows (small ranch.) I have a garage, a shed. I need a ladder is strong, as I do not do gutters, but I wash my own windows. Thanks

You need a ladder 6 feet. Be high enough to clear the channels and clean the windows of a house on one level. The lightest weight will be an aluminum ladder. Qualify for weight. You will find a label on the ladder shows the weight limit. The next option would be a straight fiberglass. They are heavier than alum ladder and usually rated for more weight. Here are a few I use fiberglass 6 ' my painting and cleaning gutters. It is rugged and rated for 300 #. It's a bit heavy, but I can easily carry. I'm 5'3. Aluminum is much lighter. Try out in the store and see which you like best.
