Gutter Kings

For years I struggled to stabilize my mood. Vitamins, supplements, obsessive exercise, positive visualization, whatever. Nothing seems to work without embargo. Now in my forty years, I decided to set up the glove and let my glorious, all powerful hormones to reign in its rightful place as Master (or mistress) mood.

For most of my cycle I am upbeat, friendly, empathetic, happy and carefree and very productive. Who would not want extend the lifetime of this phase of euphoria? The house is organized and environment. Delicious meals are planned and presented on a daily basis. The clothes are washed in love, organized in systematic "lots of people" before being introduced rapidly in its hanging spaces designated. Pets and children are kept meticulously clean in their respective environments, thus encouraged and loved.

With the advent of the twenty-fourth day of my cycle, however, this fun-loving, conscious lover health of domesticity is promptly kidnapped. Something dark and dangerous is dumped instead. This beast is so outraged by the move. She ravages through orderly cabinets in search of chocolate and wine. innocuous things vehemently awakening moment, the angle of her husband's head and shoulders as he addresses her (she will not tolerate disrespect), the lack of texts in his in-box (clearly his "friends" do not give a damn about your life), Cold calls who come knocking with confidence only to retreat in fear when presented with the look of their other worldly eyes (do not see myself as the kind of monster who spends her days Consider substituting boards and pipes?)

Over the next thirty-six to forty-eight hours the wrath of the beast whistles like the hot water one meter geyser, till all be spent. What remains is an empty, small voice somewhere in his consciousness, he speaks of loneliness, desolation and grief.

Picture this figure dropped in the middle of the audience full of talent show with her eldest daughter from school. She sees the seriousness of adolescent heart sing with false accents of America. He shakes his head as imaginary stomachs consciously cover for lack of anything better to do with their arms (Oh, poor dear innocent, adventuring in the cruel world so much confidence and hope, without even an inkling of the size of their stomachs are really going to get!) Mascara Great infused fat tears of red paint tracks to your nose. "What?" asks her unbelieving husband, noticing the tears. She does not respond. She did not. She strokes hand rather sadly …

He had the talent show have been scheduled for a week or even a couple of days later, the mother in the audience have showed completely different attitude. A true applause and for the most beautiful smile. The strange cringe inappropriately provocative clothes. A furtive glance at the clock to the approximate length of time between now and next G & T. ..

And then, miraculously, magically, it's all for another couple of weeks. supermom is back! Pleasant wife unsmudged reinstated with mascara and a sense of despair evaporated.

So now, as the beginning of my fifth decade of looms ever closer, leads me to ask me: Is that bad? I am inconsistent, but always so. Do you appreciate the beauty of the moon as well if not forever trapped at the same level? (The moon? Oh, that boring old Crescent!) Maybe not. As with the seasons, the benefits of each one phase can be seen in greater detail when compared with what has gone before.

Lunar Ladies, I beg you, go with the menstrual flow!
