Problem rainwater for landscaping?

One of my half empty channels in my yard and gradually caused the grass and dirt to erode. Now I have a small ditch that runs half the length of my yard. I tried to redirect the flow using the plastic extenders, but the water always finds its way toward the trench. How can I repair the trench (level off) and there is anything I can do in this area (for paving, etc.) that prevent the same damage from reoccuring?

There are several ways to correct the problem, here are some: 1.) Install a "French drain" over the area where tube leads down to the courtyard of a French drain is a system that uses a 4 "pipe that is 1 / 2" holes in the tube for each couple of inches and the pipe is buried about 6 "-8" inches below ground and surrounded by gravel. Water seeps into the ground through the gravel tube and flows through holes and is diverted to different areas of your lawn (Directorate of tube) and then soaks into the ground again with the same holes. This is a fairly easy fix and not expensive at all. 2.) Dig a slight dip or trench in your yard, installation of heavy plastic film and place a layer of small stones in plastic film and then cover with a large rock that does not wash with running. And use the system to "Landscape" or divide sections of your yard as has a flower bed or line of coverage. This project is easy and inexpensive, but it will require Maintanance every few years because the plastic film Rott was after a period of time. We also know how to be lawn or plants can grow in the area of plastic. Hope this helps.
