How I can dig a trench in a concrete walkway?

I need to create a trench in which a part of it has to run under a walkway concrete. I am installing drain pipes and gutters downspouts my water needed to meet the other side of the aisle. How I can dig the trench? Only with a shovel or is there a special tool I can use? One side of the bridge (the one closest to the house) is really small space. On the other side there is plenty of room.
