What color should I paint the columns, windows and door?

just put a new roof-dimensional black paint on my brick home.Should the columns and the white blinds to match the gutters.I'm open to suggestions Thanks a lot different color bricks are multi colored if that helps thanks in advance Additional details on his ranch with a double garage, which also has columns bricks are red-brown with some black is not a solid red

In my opinion, the columns of a house look better when they are white. Somehow, the houses with colored columns I just do not seem right. Therefore I would like painting the columns and the white blinds to match the channels to make everything look consistent. Then, get a good color for the front door. Go out and get a fist load of paint chips on the front door. You can see exactly how it will color your door without even taking a brush. Behind the gap from the front door and hold a piece of paint until about 12 "away from your face. Close one eye and line up the new paint bent so that it overlaps and aligns the front door. This way you can see how many different colors appear at the door before you buy a gallon of paint. This technique never fails. Now, color the door. If you like the classic look, you can choose black, white or red for the door. But if you want the enterance to pop a bit, go with another color. Think sage green, orange, charcoal, red rusted or corroded, burnt pumpkin, or the warm tones of gold, not yellow. If you're brave, how about apple green red or purple grape (not Purple Crayon), but a deep purple eggplant. To bring it all together, perhaps you can use the paint for the door of a bank park in the yard, or a chair painted on the front stoop, if there is room. Paint some large terracotta pots or urns get black (to match the roof and some of the bricks) and white petunia plants and colorful flowers to coordinate with the new gateway. Repeat the colors to your inbox to create curb appeal. Some new house numbers or a new door knocker can cool the enterance way for a show of welcome. Think big picture.
