How to fix plastic rain gutters

Gutters play an important role in maintaining your roof leak-proof. – Chalk line
– Measuring tape
– 2 ladders
– Carpenter's level
– Sierra
– Pencil
– Wood Screws

Steps

1. First, you need to mark the important points to set the channel and its supports. Place the carpenter's level near the corner of the roof so that should be extended about 6 inches above the rim. Gutter Take a stand and placed on the flat strip or fascia. The top of the bracket should be touching the bottom of the scale. Take a pencil and install the mounting bracket holes. Similarly mark the holes on the other corner of the roof section.

2. Draw a line joining the two points marked. The line should be straight. Now measure the length of the roof section and draw another line so that it decreases by one sixth of an inch every 10 feet length.

3. Install the corner pieces on each side of the roof section with the help of screws and brackets.

4. Support brackets were installed after each 36 inches in the direction of the length of the roof section.

5. Take an appropriate measure of the length of the section between the corner pieces. This length will help reduce the exact length of the culvert to be installed between the two sections. In general, the channels come in standard size 10 foot sections. So you may have to cut the corner pieces to fit gutter sections.

6. Install gutters on brackets. Now is the time attach the end caps. Most plastic gutters plastic surgery end caps in place without tools.

7. Now connect an elbow at the corner of the section. This will help to connect the downspout of it. Place a small piece of downspout (about 2 feet long) that will be below eaves. Then measure the length from top to bottom for a downspout length. Install a downspout length. To give support to install the brackets so uniform against the wall. Install the other side in the bottom of the downspout.

8. With the elbow attach a piece of downspout about 5 feet long. This will help drain the water away from the foundation of your home.

9. For each length of the cover, repeat the same process to install the plastic chute.
