What is your favorite wood fascia to cover?

The fascia below the culvert can be covered with aluminum (which requires a brake on the curve), A new type of plastic sheeting are in the centers of origin (which also requires a constraint on the curve), or plastic panel that is in the section coating. Which is better and why? What fasteners are used?

If you're in a canal and you can stand a joint or 2, used a vinyl covering fascia that comes in 12 'lengths. Not wanting to rent a brake I used some I found in a lumberyard that the Exact 8 "wide it needed, and is slightly textured and has a rolled lip that clips the bottom edge of the fascia also found some at a Home Depot that I think that was broader, but same idea. I drove it up w / white aluminum trim nails and white sealant behind the butt joints. With a bit of fiddling and some white caulking channel was able to get enough clean looking eventually to put a miter on his lip and flexion. Has been for a while in a garage and still more aluminum cleaner than the house wrapped in the fascia. Best regards
