I want a third in my room, so I was thinking about this … Fit ter near the window. Run coaxial cable through the window and I was 3 or 4 foot Firestik II fiberglass whip mounted on the gutter. The i only thing I can think of is that the power supply does not work, or no metal ground plane below the antenna fiber CB glass. Since i is not a magnet assembly is not for sure if I needed a ground plane under it …..

Do not need a regulated power supply when there is talk that it will short out. Get a car battery and a charger. Also be sure to use a ground wire for the antenna GOOD
