HELP! Contractors in Florida or nearby .. I need advice on my roof and walls .. I repair or replace?

I'm buying the house was built in 1991 and is in Jacksonville, FL. is 1700 feet square, one story, with a vaulted ceiling of the room. The roof is asphalt shingles, 15 years now and in very good condition w / no leaks, but there are some repairs to do, there are some small bald spots, a frown few areas where a porch is added, and the inspector recommends PVC guttering to be replaced by metal. The coating is Lousianna Pacific and there are some issues putrefaction of wood, especially around the bottom. I'm curious how much would be replaced with Hardi-board or cementious or aluminum siding. Other needs to be done to this house is not as important. No conference about why I'm going to buy this home, please, I have my reasons, too many to say here. I really appreciate any advice from roofers and / or general contractors. Thanks!

to replace the roof w / asphalt shingles that are less expensive than you're looking at $ 225/square (100 square feet), herpes zoster who are at home now could have a warranty of 20-50 years. depending on type. rarely after this time. when granules are missing UV rays from the sun, breakdown of mat and causing loss of crack. roofing contractor have a look out. an engineer of origin can not know.
